Hal V. Worth
As a Vice President with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital in the Raleigh Region office, Hal’s primary responsibility is the origination of debt and equity financing for public and private real estate owners through a variety of capital sources, which includes insurance companies, investment banks, governmental agencies, commercial banks and credit institutions.
Prior to his assuming his post in Grandbridge’s Raleigh Region, Hal served in senior positions with several national commercial mortgage firms. As a senior vice president with Avison Young, he created a commercial mortgage banking platform for the firm’s U.S. offices. He also served as a senior vice president with Dickinson, Logan, Todd & Barber (DLTB) and, while a managing director with Centura Bank (RBC Centura – Capital Advisors), he developed and managed a commercial mortgage banking platform and developed an off-balance sheet platform as well as a proprietary on-balance sheet lending product developed for securitization.
A life-long Raleigh, NC, resident with more than 25 years of mortgage loan origination experience, Hal is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in economics. He also holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
