John Hankins, CPA

John, a vice president in the Charlotte production office, joined Grandbridge in 2015. John began his career in finance and the commercial real estate industry in 2001. His responsibilities include providing a broad array of advisory and placement services in permanent, construction/permanent, bridge, mezzanine, and equity capital to owners of commercial and multifamily properties.

Prior to joining Grandbridge, he was a vice president and commercial real estate relationship manager with US Bank. John’s background also includes tenure with Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a vice president in the commercial real estate division where he underwrote, closed and monitored construction and bridge loans for commercial properties in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. He began his career with Deloitte, LLP, working with both public and private real estate companies.

The Charlotte native earned both his bachelor and master’s degrees in accounting from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. John, a CPA, is a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI).
