Kayla Norris

Kayla Norris has more than 7 years of experience in the commercial mortgage business since graduating from Winthrop University in 2010, where she earned her bachelor's degree in finance. Kayla joined the Charlotte production team in 2013 and is responsible for all phases of production support including underwriting and packaging new loans, as well as following committed loans through the closing process. She has experience financing multiple property types, including apartment communities, senior living facilities, shopping centers, office buildings, industrial warehouses, hotels and self-storage facilities.

Prior to her role in production, she worked in Grandbridge's corporate office in the Freddie Mac Origination and Processing group since 2010. In this position, she assisted with the Freddie Mac execution process, reviewing and processing Freddie Mac submissions, which included borrower financial statements, property financial statements, third-party reports, forms required by Freddie Mac and underwriting. During her time in this position, she assisted in processing a total loan balance of approximately $2.9 billion.
