Robert D. LaRue
Based in the Houston office, Robert is a senior vice president with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital LLC. Grandbridge acquired Live Oak Capital, Ltd., in December of 2008, where Robert served as a principal.
Prior to joining Live Oak Capital and The Dunkum Mortgage Group in 1989, Robert served with Allied Bank of Texas and First Interstate Bank of Texas (later purchased by Wells Fargo Bank) for 12 years. In addition to handling a $250 million portfolio of construction loans, Robert was responsible for all aspects of the management and disposition of bank-owned real estate, including the sale of foreclosed properties.
Before joining Allied Bank of Texas, Robert was employed by First National Bank in Dallas (later purchased by NCNB) and Wachovia Mortgage Company.
A native Houstonian, Robert earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University and his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He is an affiliate member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the local chapter of NAIOP, and holds a Texas real Estate salesperson license.
