Tony Coley

Tony joined BB&T, now Truist, in 2009 through the Colonial Bank acquisition where he was president and CEO of Colonial Bank’s Southeast Florida Commercial Banking Division. At BB&T, his Broward County Commercial Team finished #2 in large market loan production in 2011 and was the #3 most improved city in the 2011 Large Market President’s Award. Tony was promoted to regional president of the Central Florida Region in April of 2012. In 2013, the Central Florida Region was named the Most Improved Region in the President’s Award.

He remains very active in the Central Florida community, holding seats on several local boards including the Boy Scouts of Central Florida where he serves as the vice president of Finance, the Central Florida Partnership, the African-American Chamber of Commerce, Florida Hospital Children’s Hospital Board, Business Force and the UCF Business School Dean’s Advisory Board. Tony is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, FL.

He has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Miami.
