Matthew MacCaughelty, CCIM
Based in BB&T Real Estate Funding's Charlotte office, Stabilized Program Underwriter Matthew's primary responsibilities include underwriting and closing stabilized fixed rate commercial real estate transactions.
Prior to joining BB&T Real Estate Funding, Matthew served as senior project manager at Cardinal Real Estate Partners, which he joined in 2009. As lead project manager, he was responsible for all transactions of the firm, including all aspects of buying, selling, leasing and developing commercial real estate.
Matthew obtained his master’s degree with an emphasis in real estate in 2009 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s Belk College of Business. He is a graduate of Furman University, where he earned his bachelor degree in economics. Matthew has a North Carolina and South Carolina real estate broker’s license and holds the CCIM designation.
